10/9/24 – This is a very nice example of a JP Sauer M1913. This one is Variant 2 and is all matching. It has Crown N German Commercial markings at the correct locations – on the right side of the frame, on the muzzle of the barrel, and on the rear cap. Its original bluing rates about 94-95% with just minor high edge and muzzle wear. Safety lever and extractor still shows fire bluing. Black hard rubber grips are in excellent condition without any chips or cracks or damage to the checkering. Magazine has some numbers electro-scribed on the base plate but do not match the SN of the pistol. The mag has a flat bottom and the left side has the Sauer & Sohn symbol with 7,65 stamped on the bottom left side and is original to the gun. The bore has great rifling, but there is some light pin-pricking toward the muzzle end.
