9/7/23 – This is an original WW2 German Kriegsmarine dagger. The dagger is complete with an original scabbard, silver portepee, and Kriegsmarine style belt hanger. The dagger blade has dark surface patina mostly located at the base of the blade. The WKC maker logo on the ricasso is still visible, however. The blade is double fullered and double etched with great visible detail. Some light rub wear near the tip as well. The edges are unsharpened. Original felt stopper still intact. The hand guard and pommel have some dark speckling patina and light surface wear but no major issues. The handle has a few mild imperfections but great overall condition with a tightly wrapped chord. The hanger rope has fraying throughout, as shown. Light scuffing on the knot, which is tight. The scabbard has a few dents near the toe and the hangers are excellent.
