5/22/23 – This is a fairly scarce WW2 production Chinese Air Force Officer’s Dagger. The dagger comes with an original scabbard and is in good overall condition. The steel blade is nickel plated with signs of sharpened along both edges. The blade has no maker markings or stamps, and has some dark speckling oxidation as well as light surface scratches throughout each side. Measures 25cm long. Overall length is ~36cm. The brass cross guard has a spread-winged eagle “bird of prey” on each side and has very minor play or wiggle. The handle has some mild surface chipping and cracking. A brass eagle forms the pommel and back-spine of the handle. Excellent detail and normal patina, but one of the eagle eyes are missing. Comes with an original scabbard as shown with some light surface scratches but no major issues.
