10/31/23 – This is a clean example of a P14 made by Winchester as aid to Great Britain during WW1. The English lost many of their small arms during the retreat from Dunkirk and reached out to other countries for support. The English would contract Eddystone, Winchester, and Remington to manufacture P14s. This rifle has gone through the Weedon Refurbishment to prepare for WW2. The metal on the receiver has been reblued and has a deep blue throughout. The stock has been placed in an M1917 stock which was common for refurbishment. The bore is mirror bright with very sharp rifling. The bolt is matching to the receiver.
