12/30/20 – This is a nearly ‘as new in box’ Sauer 38h from the Nazi era, but what makes it especially rare is that the box is numbered to the pistol. This is the first example we’ve offered with matching numbered box. The box also includes the rare, original manual, cleaning rod, spare magazine, three dummy rounds and the cleaning kit. The pistol has 99% of the original blue, with just a tiny hint of finish loss on the back strap. There is also a minor bit of pitting on the right side of the slide, so it seems possible that a little bit of moisture got into the box and caused this issue as that’s the side the pistol lays on. Otherwise, just a fantastic example with excellent grips and minty bore.
