2/22/23 – This is a terrific example of a G Date Mauser Luger with holster and tool. Made at a time when the Germans were hiding military arms production, the G code on the receiver indicates it was made in 1935. This is a beautiful Luger with matching small parts and about 97% of the original blue remaining. Minor wear around the muzzle and sideplate, and a spot of finish loss at the bottom of the front strap. Excellent bore. The grips are minty but are numbered ’88’ while the pistol’s last two digits are ’89’. They could be replacements but they fit perfectly, so may have just been a factory error. The magazine is matching numbered to the pistol, but we aren’t certain the numbering is factory and we lean towards saying it was renumbered. The holster is a rare, original G Date example and these sell for $1500-2k on their own. It’s in excellent condition but does have a name scratched into the back. Comes with an original E/63 tool.
