5/3/24 – This is a Spanish Campero or Western style revolver holster. The leather holster is aged and we estimate likely WW1 or 1920’s production based on the style and age of the leather. The holster is unmarked except for a small circular ink stamp on the interior leather, but we cannot decipher this marking. The lid of the holster has a pebble grain style, and the leather overall is in very good condition with natural signs of previous use and normal pliability. The stitching appears original and all intact with rivets on the belt loops for added structural durability. Measures 18cm wide at the widest point, and about 22cm long when closed. The wear patterns suggest a revolver was previously held in this holster.
