7/8/22 – This is a nice example of a 2″ Smith & Wesson Pre-Model 36 revolver, manufactured around 1956 and chambered in .38 Special. It is matching and has retained roughly 85% of its original high polish finish. There are areas of somewhat spotty wear throughout, concentrated mostly on the grip straps, underside of the trigger guard, and on the top straps. Some light surface scratches here and there and some small dots of discoloration on both sides of the frame. Comes with excellent Walnut grips. Mint bore. The cylinder is tight, and the action is smooth.
