4/28/20 – This is a scarce ‘dot 42’ marked and matching German WWII bayonet with scabbard and frog. Both bayonet and scabbard are marked dot 42. Bayonet also wears the serial number 6991. Scabbard does not wear the bayonet serial number stamped which is the usual case for these German Occupation Czech bayonets. Both bayonet and scabbard wear German stamped eagle 63 acceptance proof marks. Original blade factory edge. Leather bayonet frog is in terrific condition and is maker stamped CARL ACKVA and dated 1939.
