3/6/24 – This is a scarce, original example of an early Mauser K98 from 1936 that was issue to the German Army. The rifle is fully matching and original throughout, with matching numbered parts including the stock, buttplate, bolt assembly, trigger assembly, bands, rear sight, barrel, receiver, and even the screws! The original blue is in good shape overall but shows thinning and oxidation on the bands and barrel. Strong, shiny bore with minor signs of use. Comes with a cleaning rod, sling and muzzle cover. The stock has dings and handling wear throughout but no structural issues.
