7/31/24 – This is a postwar production Artillery Luger holster rig, complete with holster, stock / shoulder board, leather carry strap, dual magazine pouch, cleaning rod, tool, and all necessary fittings. The holster leather is strong with minimal pliability. Holds shape nicely and has an aged appearance. Stitching is tight and excellent. The luger tool pouch and cleaning rod pouch both have brass knobs, but the knob on the cleaning rod pouch is loose / detached from the original position. No other issues on the holster. The cleaning rod is steel with a wood handle and measures about 24.7cm long. Some mild patina but great overall condition. The luger tool is unmarked with no finish and an aged look. Fits the pouch nicely. Excellent leather cup and top “tongue” of leather, with nice metal screws and brass washers with an aged patina. The leather carry strap is broken and taped in two areas, as shown. Brass knobs and an attached leather dual-magazine pouch. The pouch is excellent. The wood shoulder board is in great condition with no visible markings or stamps except a small “A 71” stamped into the wood near the attachment-end. Overall a great value for the sum-of-the-parts.
