4/8/24 – This is an unfired Colt Single Action Army, Tom Threepersons limited edition production in the original box. “The Colt Tom Threepersons Single Action Army Revolver is a limited edition recalling the peacemakers of the Wild West. The Colt is royal blue polished with a color case frame. It is tastefully roll engraved on both sides of the muzzle, on the cylinder, with a 24kt cylinder band. A replica marshal’s badge is engraved on the shovel portion of the firearm. Limited to 350 Special serial numbers within the TLE serial number sequence (Colt Silver Stallion P1850 was a 200 unit within the TLE edition). Thomas Threepersons, born in 1889, was a Cherokee lawman and is considered to have been one of the last gunfighters of the Old West. He invented the “Tom Threepersons holster.” He had a long and dramatic career as a soldier and lawman. He was wounded many times in the course of his duty. He was said to be relentless in the pursuit of outlaws and killers.” This one comes with the original Colt case and shipping box, as well as the Barrant Leather Co. holster.
