6/17/24 – This is a minty example of a very rare “Zero Series” Walther P.38, manufactured in 1945. They are called a zero series because the serial numbers start with a zero. Only 1,750 of these were produced according to Whittington’s book. This one is all matching and has “Eagle 359” military acceptance proofs. Late-war cog-style hammer. It has retained virtually all of its original finish with just the slightest hints of high edge and muzzle wear. Fitted with reddish bakelite grips and comes with a period-correct magazine. Minty bore. De-cocker is functional.
