4/19/22 – This is a very rare and desirable Nazi Walther P.38 from 1940. Referred to as the “ac no date”, there were only about 2,500 of these produced, and this one is in the correct serial range. There’s only about 50 reported examples known. This particular gun also comes with one original matching-numbered magazine, even rarer! It is all matching and has the proper “Eagle 359” Nazi military acceptance proofs throughout. It has retained roughly 80% of its finish. We believe the bluing has been touched up in some areas, given its somewhat splotchy appearance. Generally, there are areas of thinning and splotchy discoloration throughout. There is also a series of small scratches on the right side of the slide. Comes with original matching-numbered bakelite grips. There is minor pitting in the grooves of the bore throughout. De-cocker is functional.
