7/13/22 – This is an original 1942 dated holster for the Sauer 38h pistol. The holster is maker stamped “jhg 42” under the closure strap. The closure strap is waffen proof stamped. The interior leather is ink stamped “Sauer 7,65 / H”. This is an ink stamp seldom found today, and specifies this holster for pairing with the Sauer 38h. The holster has light surface wrinkling throughout the leather. Normal pliability and no stitching issues of note.
