8/15/22 – This is an example of a rare commercial Mauser Banner Luger from 1940. There were only ~7500 commercial banner Lugers produced by Mauser, most in the ‘v’ and ‘w’ serial blocks. This one is all matching and has the proper “Eagle N” commercial proofs. We believe this gun has been professionally restored and refinished, so the bluing is very nice throughout. Very minor wear on the side plate, side rails, and around the muzzle. One small spot of wear on the front strap. Comes with minty “Eagle 655” proofed grips and a period-correct un-numbered magazine. Excellent bore with strong rifling.
