3/18/22 – This is an original WW2 production P.38 holster. The holster is somewhat scarce because there is no maker, date, or P.38 stamp on the back leather. The only visible stamp is a waffen proof. Research finds this is a style of holster made by Christof Neuner, most likely in 1942. The holster is in good overall condition with nice leather that has normal pliability and a fairly clean interior. The biggest take-away is the closure strap has been re-attached at the base, so there’s two lines of missing stitching next to the metal hardware, as shown. The rest of the stitching is intact and original. Priced accordingly.
