06/18/2024 – For sale is an Arisaka Type 99 made at the Kokura Arsenal during WW2. This rifle is in good condition overall with most of the original finish on the metal worn away with spots of oxidation. The Imperial Mum is untouched. The rifle is fully matching. The stock has been sanded and there is a small repair on the right side of the stock towards rear. The bore is bright with some spots of corrosion towards the muzzle and the rifling is slightly worn. The 24th series is when rifles began transitioning to last ditch features and do not come with AA sights, monopod, cleaning rod, or dust cover.
