6/4/20 – This is an original Nazi Walther P.38 from 1941. It is a second variation pistol with high-polish blue but no ‘ac’ proof on trigger guard. All numbered parts are matching. The small parts are waffenamt. One of the grip panels is waffenamt, the other is not. The grips are not numbered. This gun has retained about 70% of its original bluing. Most of the wear is on the barrel, around the muzzle, and on the right side of the slide. Very light freckling here and there. The bore has good rifling, but there is light freckling throughout. The de-cocker functions properly. It comes with a numbered high polish Walther magazine. The number does not match the gun.
