7/18/23 – This is a very nice example of a Mossberg 42MB training rifle, manufactured during WW2. Chambered in .22 short, long, or long rifle. Fitted with a nice Weaver G4 scope (nice optics but slightly cloudy). It has retained nearly all of its finish with some light freckling along the barrel and some tiny scratches on the floor plate. The bakelite trigger guard appears to be slightly warped. Excellent wood stock, but the trigger guard does not fit perfectly. Mint bore. Comes with an excellent leather sling.
