12/6/23 – This is an original WW1 Mauser C96 Broomhandle wood stock / holster. The stock comes with a leather harness with shoulder strap. The harness is unmarked, and based on the style of leather and stitching we believe the harness is a post WW1 production or commercial production harness of some kind (price reflects this). The leather is in near-excellent condition with normal pliability and light signs of use but no excessive wear or damage. The wood stock is in great shape with a nice Mauser banner on the back side. The metal fixtures are original and the hinge shows traces of fire bluing still intact with natural patina throughout. Fully functional with no cracks or chips in the wood.
