5/6/24 – This is an original WW1 production Colt / S&W M1917 revolver holster. The holster is in great overall condition with soft, pliable leather that shows signs of previous use and age throughout. Light scuffing and wrinkling on the front leather, but the “US” stamp is still clearly visible. The stitching is all tight and original. Original toe has an attached lanyard / leg strap. The back leather is maker stamped, dated, and inspector initial stamped.
