01/03/24 – This is a good condition, late WW2 production NCO Japanese sword. The sword comes with a metal scabbard, and that scabbard is in rough condition with numerous dents and light surface rust; however, the sword slides in with no issues. The blade itself has a good amount of patina down the length of both sides. The edge has a couple of tiny chips and has light sharpening. A serial/lot number at the base of the blade on the right side reads 33688, and two stamps on the handle look like possible arsenal markings (See Photos). Overall not a bad piece just has some flaws, mostly with Scabbard.
