8/12/19 – This is an original WW2 era leather strap for a K98 rifle. The strap is maker marked on the rear of the keeper, however, the first few letters are unreadable. The clasp is unmarked. The leather is soft and completely in tact with no notable flaws. The stitching is all original as well without issues. Herringbone pattern is worn, but visible on about 50% of the sling. Guaranteed original.
