2/12/21 – This is an excellent and original Type 99 sniper rifle with rare scope. Made in 1944 at the Nagoya Arsenal with all matching numbers throughout, except for the firing pin. Matching bolt, receiver, cocking knob and bayo lug. The mum is almost completely intact but does have a small strike in it. Correct inspectors proofing on the underside of the stock. Serial dates this gun to 1944 and is one of a very small batch reported in the 8000-8999 range. The scope is very rare, one of 1000 made by Takatihio. Serial is in the correct range for these scopes, and only 50 examples are reported. Optics are crystal clear with just a few specks in the lower area. Comes with rare, original muzzle cover and a cleaning rod.
