3/7/24 – Up for sale is an excellent condition Mosin Nagant PU Sniper made at the Izhevsk Factory during WW2. The PU sniper was an update to the Mosin Nagant sniper line using a scope that’s easier to manufacture than the PEM scope. The PU sniper was introduced in 1942 and was used until the end of WW2. This rifle went through an arsenal refurb and had the scope and mount force matched to the rifle. The rifle comes with an original PU Scope and the optics are clear. The finish on the rifle is typical of Post WW2 Soviet refurbishment with flaking shellac on the stock and a dark black finish on the metal. The rifle has matching serial numbers from the rearsenal on the barrel shank, bolt, magazine floor, and buttplate. The bore is very bright but towards the last 6 inches, it becomes darker. Comes with a Mosin canvas sling, a scope cover, and a lenscap. There is an import mark stamped on the right side of the muzzle.
