2/1/22 – This is a gorgeous example of a Polish Mosin M44 Carbine manufactured in 1955. The gun is all matching (including the butt plate) and there is a very light import mark on the left side of the receiver. It features an ’11’ in circle marking on receiver, which may indicate manufacture at the Radom factory in Poland as it was referred to as factory #11. There is some debate over this from what I could find in researching, as some attribute these to Mosin Nagant. The only sign of wear is a few small dots of oxidation on the bolt and a few tiny scratches around the muzzle. The stock is mint. The bore is stone-mint.
