5/20/20 – This is a gorgeous and all original G Date Mauser Luger from 1935. There were only about 53,000 Mauser Lugers produced in 1935, which is considerably lower than every year that followed while Mauser still produced Lugers (1936-42). It has 98% of the original blue with a spot of finish loss on the lower edge of the sideplate, and an area of browning/thinning on the bottom of the front strap. Mint bore and grips, with fantastic strawed small parts. All numbers are matching, including the grips but not the magazine. Don’t see many G Dates in this condition.
