12/26/17 – This is an original 1935 dated Luger holster. Also known as the “G Date” Luger holster, and the most scarce of all WW2 era Luger holsters. The reasons why are unclear, but most tend to think there was an excess made in 1934, so not many were made in 1935 (or at least survived to today). The back of the holster is waffen WaA142 proofed, with a 1935 date and a maker stamp from Dresden Germany. The leather is in good shape but there is a light rip in the back left belt loop (near stitching, still completely attached). The front leather also has some light surface wrinkling and scuffing. The stitching is in tact and all original. The interior leather is fairly clean. Overall a very nice all original 1935 Luger holster. These don’t come in much nicer condition.
