6/13/23 – This is an extremely early Inland M1 Carbine, the 1,502nd ever produced! A full parts guide is included in the photos of the listing, and the rifle has several early and correct parts/markings. It has a very rare, very early Inland stock, as well as flaming bomb proofs on several of the parts. Also has the rare, early variations of the safety and mag catch. The finish is original throughout and shows some thinning and splotchy areas on the receiver. There is a fair amount of pitting along the barrel and muzzle, though the bore is not mostly unaffected. The bore is shiny with strong rifling but a little pitting near the muzzle. The stock is in very good condition with minor dings, but does have a thin surface crack in the handguard. Comes with a canvas sling.
