11/16/22 – This is an excellent example of a Smith and Wesson Model 10 Revolver, manufactured in 1961-62, 2″ barrel, and chambered in .38 Special. It has retained about 98% of its original high polish finish with just very minor muzzle wear. Excellent case-hardening on the hammer and trigger. There is very minor dulling on the grip straps, a few tiny dots of oxidation here and there, and a few very light scratches on both sides of the frame. Extremely light roll mark on the cylinder. Comes with excellent hand-checkered Walnut grips – the right panel is numbered and matching. The bore is shiny with strong rifling and two small areas of very minor oxidation. The cylinder is tight, and the action is smooth.
