4/3/23 – This is an excellent example of an Astra Model 300 chambered in 9mm Kurz. It is all matching, has the proper “Waffen 251” military acceptance proof on the right side of the tang, and was delivered to the Nazi military on April 9th of 1943, along with 4,000 other guns. This one comes as a rig with an interesting shoulder holster, one blank period-correct magazine, and one police arsenal-numbered magazine (does not match the gun). The holster is an original holster that was modified to have leather shoulder straps. It appears this was actually done during that period, possibly by a GI. The gun itself has retained about 97% of its original finish with very minor wear on some of the high edges and some areas of very light freckling here and there. Excellent period-correct wood grips. The bore has great rifling, but there is minor freckling throughout.
