3/13/23 – This is an excellent condition, early M35 double-decal Heer Army helmet from WW2. The helmet comes with two original leather chin straps, as shown. The chinstrap currently attached to the helmet is 1938 dated with a maker stamp on the interior of one end. The second chinstrap also has a maker stamp on one end, but this is faint and too difficult to decipher. The helmet shell has some mild surface patina and natural aging throughout but no major issues. Each decal is 95+% and clean overall. The interior shell is maker stamped and size 66. The back visor lot number is stamped “E (or F) 106”. The liner band shows no signs of tampering or replacement and the original leather liner is in great condition as shown. A very nice example of a large and early WW2 helmet.
