11/2/23 – This is an excellent example of a late-war Remington Rand Model 1911A1 issued to the US military in 1945. It is “United States Property” marked, has a military cross-canon cartouche, and has the proper “FJA” inspection initials. Proper High Standard barrel. The gun has retained about 95% of its original finish with just very minor general high edge wear, hints of thinning on the grip straps, and some small spots of discoloration on the right side of the gun. Fitted with excellent reddish-brown plastic grips and comes with an “R” marked magazine. Mint bore.
