3/25/22 – This is an excellent example of an Erfurt Ortgies pistol sold in the commercial market in the 1920’s. The gun is all matching and has the proper “Crown N” commercial proofs. There is also a “Germany” export marking on the underside of the frame, indicating this pistol was intended for sale in the international market. It has retained about 97% of its original finish. There is very minor wear around the muzzle and along the high edge of the left side of the slide. Comes with very nice period-correct wood grips (some tiny bruises here and there) and a proper factory-nickeled magazine. Excellent bore with strong rifling.
