3/9/22 – This is an excellent example of a .22 Caliber Walther PP rig sold in the commercial market in 1942. The gun is all matching and has the proper “Eagle N” commercial proofs. The gun comes as a rig with a period-correct un-marked tan leather holster, one .22 caliber flat bottom magazine, and one black finger extension magazine. The gun has retained about 96-97% of its original bluing. Most of the finish loss is on the straps, where there is minor thinning and freckling, so the profile views are excellent. There is minor wear around the muzzle and some very light scratches on both sides of the slide – the most noticeable scratch is on the right side of the slide. Comes with excellent period-correct black bakelite grips. The bore is mint.
