7/17/24 – This is an excellent, near mint condition example Police Luger holster from WW2. This holster is desirable in that it’s Police style, but also because it’s 1942 dated, having been made at the end of Mauser Luger production. The holster features clean black leather that has mild pliability and a few light surface scuffs and wrinkles as shown. The back leather has a maker stamp, date, and police eagle proof stamp. Interestingly, the back leather also shows some streaks of brown from where the black dye was not properly applied or has worn away. The holster has a crisp, clean interior and excellent all-original stitching throughout. A high-end example.
