1/10/23 – This is an early Type 30 Arisaka bayonet made by Kokura Arsenal. The bayonet is a variation C with a minty, clean and shiny bright blade. The earliest WW2 variation T30 bayonets had bright blades like this, and are seldom found in this condition. No signs of misuse or additional sharpening. The blade has minimal surface wear and is maker stamped on one side of the ricasso. The hand guard has some mild edge wear, as does the pommel. The wood grips are excellent. Comes with a blued scabbard that has mild surface patina and no dents or major issues. A very nice, nearly unupgradable example.
