4/2/18 – This is an original, early/pre WW2 Kriegsmarine dagger. The blade is etched with a rope around an anchor and a floral pattern border. There is old oil caked into some of the etching, but this can be cleaned off with effort. Overall the blade is in excellent shape with light spotting in a few spots. The handle has no cracks or chips, but there is a light surface scratch or two – see photos (these are very small and minor). The scabbard has light aging wear but overall excellent. This early WKC made blade is pre WW2 production and in great shape overall – a nice collector’s piece.
