3/19/18 – This is a scarce and original Colt M1911 rig, made for the US Army in 1914. The pistol is all correct and original, and comes with a 1914 dated holster, 1918 dated canteen, mag pouch, belt and two spare magazines. The finish on the pistol is hard to rate, as there isn’t much wear but there is some patina coming through the blue throughout. H marked slide and horizontal P H barrel are correct. Three total magazines, all of which are two-toned (one has lanyard loop). The canteen, belt and mag pouch are all WWI originals, and in good condition. The holster is early and 1914 dated, with no tears/rips/holes. Bore has some frosting throughout but strong rifling. Grips have no major chips or cracks.
