8/2/22 – This is a nice example of an early DWM Luger issued to the Imperial German military in 1911. It is all matching and has the proper Imperial German military acceptance proofs. It has the proper early features such as no stock lug and no hold open. It has retained somewhere between 85-90% of its original bluing. There is light freckling and pin-pricking on the whole gun, areas of thinning on the barrel and grip straps, and minor wear on the side plate, side rails, and around the muzzle. Some tiny pits along the barrel. Comes with very nice matching-numbered wood grips and a proper early magazine that is not matching but close in serial number. The bore has good rifling, but there is pin-pricking throughout.
