12/27/22 – This is an original, desirable variation M35 German Army Helmet with two exterior decals. The shield decal is about 70-75% condition, and the Heer Army Eagle decal is about 95% condition. The helmet has very nice apple green paint that has surface patina and discoloration throughout. There’s some mild paint fading on the crown of the exterior as well as dark patina, but overall the exterior is in great condition with no dents or major issues. The interior shell is maker stamped “SE” and size 66. The back visor is numbered 3995. The interior leather liner is original, and the metal liner band shows minimal signs of tampering and appears original to the helmet as well. The leather is worn and cracked with the lower portion of leather mostly missing, as shown in photos. The leather chinstrap is still attached however and in great shape with a “gxy 41” maker stamp on one end.
