5/30/17 – This is a commercially issued Walther PPK, manufactured in 1935. The original finish rates at about 98-99%, with minor finish loss near the muzzle. The pistol does show some patina and pinpricking throughout though, which is reflected in the price. Crown over N proofs on slide and frame, and slide has matching serial etched inside. Grip is near mint, but the escutcheon turns when you try to remove the screw, so it would be difficult to take off. Walther banner mag. Minty bore.
