1/27/22 – This is a nice example of a Colt Police Positive Revolver manufactured in 1922. It is chambered in .38 Special and has a 5 inch barrel. It is all matching and has retained roughly 85% of its original high polish finish. Generally, there is wear around the muzzle, high edges of the cylinder, and on the top strap. Significant finish loss on the back strap. There is spotty, scratchy wear along both sides of the barrel, front strap, and trigger guard. Areas with tiny pits around the muzzle, on the top strap, and the very front edge of the left side of the frame. There are some light scratches here and there on the frame and tiny dots of oxidation here and there on the cylinder. Comes with excellent period-correct hard rubber Colt grips. The cylinder is tight and the action is smooth. The bore has excellent rifling.
