9/15/21 – This is a nice example of a Colt Model 1908 Vest Pocket pistol manufactured in 1914. Chambered in .25 ACP. It has a factory-nickeled finish and comes with beautiful mother-of-pearl grips. Also comes with a nickel-plated magazine. It has retained about 90% of its finish. Most of the wear is on the back strap, where there is also some spotty oxidation. Besides that, there are small chips in the nickel on the trigger, on the left side of the frame, and right side of the slide. There is a textured imperfection on the right side of the slide – almost looks like a tree root. The bore has strong rifling with very minor pin-pricking throughout.
