10/29/18 – This is an original WW2 production P.38 holster. The back of the holster is stamped with a “Bearskin Oakleaf 9” maker stamp. The base of the oak leaf has the date, 1943. This is a fairly scarce & desirable maker. The stamp is faint, as is the P.38 stamp on the back leather. The waffen eagle is barely visible as well, but looks like the waffen code is “WaA938”. Very nice leather and stitching with no major issues, guaranteed original and authentic.
