8/10/23 – This is a fantastic and scarce Finnish Mosin M39 with antique classification, manufactured in 1898 on a Tula receiver tang, and paired with a 1943 Tikka barrel. Part of a production of around 5000 Tikka barreled M-39s, very few remain in this condition. The M39 was an improvement over the other Finnish Mosin predecessors, and they are considered to be the finest and most accurate Mosin Nagant rifles ever made. The rifle retains virtually all of its bluing, though there is some thinning on the trigger, front barrel band, and buttplate. Some extremely minor signs of oxidation here and there. Wood furniture is flawless aside from a few handling marks. Stone mint bore. Antique, so no licensing required.
