8/15/23 – This is a nice example of a Colt Detective Special, manufactured in 1977 and chambered in .38 Special. All matching with a 2″ barrel. It has retained somewhere between 85-90% of its high polish finish. The majority of the wear is along both sides of the barrel, where there is also spotty oxidation and tiny pitting. There are a few handling marks on the trigger guard and some pin-pricking on the cylinder. Fitted with nice Pachmayr black rubber grips. The bore has strong rifling, but there are spots of surface oxidation throughout.
