5/8/23 – This is a minty example of an Inland Paratrooper M1 Carbine issued to the US military in late 1943. The receiver dates to 1943 and the barrel is Inland marked and dated November of 1943. This one has an added adjustable rear sight and bayonet lug was added, so this gun was likely reworked for the Korean War. It has retained nearly all of its finish with just some very light scuffs here and there. The stock is nice, but there is a noticeable bruise on the front left and a hairline crack on the back left. There is a cross-canon cartouche on the bottom edge of the grip. There is a very thin layer of lacquer on the stock. The stock is original, with correct folding stock and buttplate. Mint bore. Comes with a green canvas sling and one magazine.
