2/28/24 – This is an original 1942 Mauser holster for a M1934 or HSC pistol. The holster is maker stamped with the popular “Bearskin Oak Leaf 9” maker marking, along with a waffen military proof stamp and 1942 date underneath the closure strap on the side flap of leather. The holster is in very good overall condition with surface wrinkling throughout the exterior leather and some light surface scratches on the mag pouch and back leather. The interior leather shows honest use wear, but no excessive damage. The original “Mauser 7.65” ink stamp is still visible on the interior leather, which is highly desirable. The stitching is all original, but a few stitches are missing from the front toe of the holster. This doesn’t affect function and the price is reduced accordingly. The rest of the stitching is in great condition.
